SIDE CINEMA, NEWCASTLE During Northern Lights this year you’ll be able to catch some marvellous films at Side Cinema, Newcastle. On Saturday 19th November from 7:00pm, A-Side’s artist film and video programme at Side Cinema will be screening The Last Kill and Nostos. On Wednesday 23rd November at 8:00pm, the Otherside the lesbian and gay programme at Side cinema will be screening an amazing documentary about Moomin creator Tove Jansson! Haru, The Island of the Solitary plus short film The Crawl plus short film Immortal Muse Tickets: £3.50 full price / £3.00 concessions. Doors will be open half an hour before the screenings begin. |

BALTIC, GATESHEAD As part of the Northern Lights tribute to BUFF Children and Young People’s Festival, families will be able to drop into Level One at BALTIC and at Seven Stories, to see some amazing animation work from Germany’s celebrated animation school for FREE.
